When do hard-boiled eggs go bad?

We’re all cooking more due to the lockdown and I’m very particular about leftovers and prepped food for future use. There’s something in my head that says food can’t be safe if I’m eating it even the next day.

I know that’s not right, but I need reassurances. Thankfully, I found the definitive answer. Hard-cooked eggs, which have been quickly cooled and placed in the refrigerator in their shells should be consumed within seven days. Peeled hard-cooked eggs stored in the refrigerator should be consumed within 48 hours due to the moist egg white surface being exposed and the potential of microorganism growth.
